For the sake of our relationship and an enjoyable Dallas Cowboys season for all parties involved, we hereby enter into the following agreement:

1.

Respect the possession. Jordan will do their best not to talk mid-possession while Marcus is locked in. Exceptions: relevant Cowboys commentary, celebration, or outrage.

Put my foot in it. Jordan vows to make something tasty for Cowboys games whenever reasonably possible. Game-day food is part of the experience.

3.

Save the stories. Any non-football story, question, reel, or random thought shall be held until a commercial break or halftime.

Commercial break belongs to Jordan. Having refrained during the possession, Jordan may immediately resume all regularly scheduled programming at the break.

4.

Marcus’s reciprocal obligation. In exchange, Marcus agrees to explain what just happened without acting like Jordan should already know every NFL scheme.

5.

Emotional immunity clause. Nothing said during a Cowboys loss, blown lead, interception, or questionable coaching decision may be held against either party after the game.
